Jacaranda House stands on a ridge of the old Grafton Estate adjoining a bird sanctuary, with magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea, set above two of the best known beaches in Tobago. The house was designed by a leading local architect. As a major feature, it has folding louvre doors on three sides made of beautiful local hardwoods, controlling the amount of light and air flowing through the house.
Facing north west, the house is set above its own 30 foot swimming pool with a vanishing edge overlooking the sparkling Caribbean sea and surrounded by a stonework pool deck and lawn area with lush tropical vegetation. On the ground floor are two air conditioned bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and a TV/games room.
The upper floor is reached by an impressive circular stairway leading to the spacious living/dining area which opens onto a verandah on three sides. The master bedroom and bathroom also lead out to the verandah as does the fully equipped kitchen.
